How Much Mucus Can One Woman Make, Anyway? March 9, 2006

That is officially the question of the day. I am now mostly well after almost a weeks worth of recovery time from last Thusday and Friday’s wonderful flu. Still blowing my nose about 216 times a day, coughing and a wee bit tired, but all in all, not too bad. And my sincere thanks to Wil Wheaton over at WWdN: In Exile for lighting a fire under my ass to start blogging again. His own introspection made me do a bit of my own. And as that totally shitty song goes “a change will do you good.” So I am back to my MUST BLOG AT LEAST ONCE A DAY rule, even if I have absolutely nothing to say or no new craftiness to show (like today). I actually DO have a new purse to show, in my last post I talked about making a bag out of that sweet coffee themed fabric I got, and I said I was going to start and finish it that day. Well, procrastinator that I am… I did just that by gum! Pics will follow, but it is dark and rainy here (my favorite weather, no joke), and not exactly good picture taking light available. Plus I am retarded with that camera (as you all know) so taking pictures doesn’t excite me too much. No work for me tonight, unless you count the hour long meeting I have to go to (joy). So I WILL be on the torch tonight. I have a nifty bead in my head, lets see if I can get it out of my head and into the glass. Black core, lots of clear encasing, dark cobalt and teal flowers floating in all the clear, and then more clear. Simple, not viney or gardeny, and much more to my taste than the stuff I have been making. I am sick of the same old same old, going to spice it up a bit and therefore cure my incredible boredom. But, that doesn’t happen until tonight. Mini God is running round dropping his blocks all over the floor and the noise is about to send me over the edge. Not really conducive to getting the creative juices flowing. Okay, time to get back to the humdrum, got shitloads of laundry to fold.
