Spring Is In The Air… March 20, 2006

… or not. It’s a balmy 32 degrees here in the armpit of the midwest, and I am sick of freezing my tushie off. Pondering my dirty guinea pig cage with total disdain, I am not in a cage cleaning mood. Pondering my fabric stash with a certain amount of mental overload, I have this nasty habit of getting too many ideas and sort of shorting out, they all move so fast around my head that I get confused, lose focus, and can’t for the life of me decide what to make. The only cure of course is just to sit down and do SOMETHING, no matter if I want to or not. And that is what I will do soon. It is still AM, and as people who know me know all too well, I don’t function too well in the morning. Sucks too. This mom-stuff would be so much simpler if I could just wake up in the daytime instead of not perking up until 5PM or so. Ah well, we all have our crosses to bear. For your viewing pleasure, an art piece I made celebrating my marriage, I had a lovely date with my husband this weekend, we did some shopping and went out to dinner, all with no children. Our first date in 4 years. We have GOT to get out more.
